Book Summary of Engineering Thermodynamics
This book, Engineering Thermodynamics, has been revised for including the latest on the subject.
Summary Of The Book
The method of teaching in this book has been improved by including a number of questions, solved examples, and multiple choice questions in the book. This book has a complete coverage of the course contents of Engineering Thermodynamics. The language and presentation in this book is easy for students to understand. The book follows the right approach by explaining the properties of pure substances before introducing the laws of Thermodynamics.
The book includes 534 Review Questions (Numerical), 220 Solved Examples, newly included 72 Multiple Choice Questions, and 550 Review Questions (Theoretical). The topics newly added in this edition include Applications of Thermodynamics, Automobiles-I.C. Engines, Power Generation-Steam Power Plants, Fuel Cells, Refrigeration and Air-conditioning, and Alternative method to prove Inequality of Clausius.
The first six chapters include Introduction, Work and Heat Transfer, Temperature, First Law Applied to Flow Processes, First Law of Thermodynamics, and Second Law of Thermodynamics. The next six chapters cover Entropy, Properties of Pure Substances, Available Energy, Availability and Irreversibility, Properties of Gases and Mixtures, Properties of Pure Substances, Thermodynamics Relations, Equilibrium and Stability, and Vapour Power Cycles. The last six chapters are Gas Power Cycles, Psychrometrics, Refrigeration Cycles, Compressible Fluid Flow, Reactive Systems, and Gas Compressors.

HEAT TRANSFER TEXT BOOK BY CENGEL SOFTCOPY
With complete coverage of the basic principles of heat transfer along with a broad range of applications in a flexible format, Heat Transfer: A Practical Approach, provides the perfect blend of fundamentals and applications. This lavishly illustrated text provides a highly intuitive and practical understanding of the material by emphasizing the physics and the underlying physical phenomena involved. Using a reader-friendly approach and a conversational writing style, the book is self-instructive and entertains while it teaches. It shows that highly technical matter can be communicated effectively in a simple yet precise language.
This text is the outcome of an attempt to have a textbook for a practically oriented
heat transfer course for engineering students. The text covers the standard
topics of heat transfer with an emphasis on physics and real-world
applications, while de-emphasizing intimidating heavy mathematical aspects.
This approach is more in line with students’ intuition and makes learning the
subject matter much easier.
The philosophy that contributed to the warm reception of the first edition of
this book has remained unchanged. The goal throughout this project has been
to offer an engineering textbook that
• Talks directly to the minds of tomorrow’s engineers in a simple yet precise
manner.
• Encourages creative thinking and development of a deeper understanding
of the subject matter.
• Is read by students with interest and enthusiasm rather than being used
as just an aid to solve problems.
Special effort has been made to appeal to readers’ natural curiosity and to help
students explore the various facets of the exciting subject area of heat transfer.
The enthusiastic response we received from the users of the first edition all
over the world indicates that our objectives have largely been achieved.
Yesterday’s engineers spent a major portion of their time substituting values
into the formulas and obtaining numerical results. However, now formula manipulations
and number crunching are being left to computers. Tomorrow’s
engineer will have to have a clear understanding and a firm grasp of the basic
principles so that he or she can understand even the most complex problems,
formulate them, and interpret the results. A conscious effort is made to emphasize
these basic principles while also providing students with a look at how modern tools are
used in engineering practise

NAYAK MOVIE LEAKED VIDEO SONG
The video song Laila O Laila from Mega Powerstar Ram Charan’s upcoming movie ‘Nayak’ has been leaked! The video song which is rumored to be the first song in the film goes viral from today afternoon and apparently received astounding response on internet. Sources say the makers are shocked to see the full video song on internet and are on the look out of the culprit. That’s not all, the makers have also issued several legal warnings and asked to remove the links immediately. On the flip side, the dance movements of Ram Charan choreographed by Johnny master are fantastic and reminds you that of Megastar Chiranjeevi. The expectations on ‘Nayak’ have scaled new heights and the sample in the form of leaked song has added more publicity for the film. What say guys??
Ram Charan is currently busy shooting for his next movie, titled ‘Nayak‘ under the direction of Vinayak. Vinayak has earlier given an industry hit, ‘Tagore’ with Charan’s father, Megastar Chiranjeevi. So, obviously expectations are sky high with this combination. KajalAgarwal and Amala Paul are getting paired opposite Cherry in this action romantic entertainer. Kajal is pairing with RamCharan for the second time after ‘Magadheera’ in this movie.
The latest gossip surrounding film Nagar circles is that the story line of this movie has been leaked. And the story goes like this.
Charan is playing dual role in the movie. One of them is a mass guy and the other is a class guy. In the first half of the movie, the mass guy does a series of murders. In the interval bang, the second guy gets arrested for the murders. When the judge is about to pronounce the judgement, the real culprit appears before the court and agrees his crime. And the second half is all about why he does all the murders.
But there are rumors slso suggesting that this might not be the original story. The remix of the Chiru’s one of the most memorable songs, ‘Subhaleka Rasukunna’ from the movie ‘Konadaveeti Donaga’ was shot recently on Charan and Amala Paul in Iceland. The movie is slated for release at the end of this year.

WINDOWS 7 KEYS & KEYGEN
Device Stage: Whereas Vista barely seems to recognize the presence of cameras, phones, printers, and other external devices, Windows 7's Device Stage treats them like royalty. The operating system devotes a slick-looking status window to each device, so you can browse files, manage media, and perform other device-specific tasks.
HomeGroup: At long last, Microsoft promises to take the pain and frustration out of home networking for users of its operating system. Set up a HomeGroup, and then add PCs and other devices--and without further ado you can share files, printers, and the like. Why did it take seven versions of Windows to get this right?
Jump Lists: Like souped-up Recent Documents menus, Jump Lists provide quick access to application-specific documents and/or tasks. For example, you can right-click the Internet Explorer taskbar icon and choose from a list of frequently visited Web sites or from a list of available tasks (such as New Tab and InPrivate). Once you get started using Jump Lists, you'll wonder how you ever got along without them.
Libraries: Most of us have documents, music, pictures, and video scattered across multiple folders on our PCs. Libraries are special folders in Windows 7 that catalog these items under a single roof, regardless of where you actually store them on your hard drive. And best of all, Libraries are easy to share within your HomeGroup.
One-click Wi-Fi: Unlike Windows Vista, Windows 7 makes choosing a wireless network to connect to simple and convenient: Click the system-tray icon, and choose from the resulting list of available hotspots. Granted, you can find third-party connection managers for Vista, but nothing this streamlined and unobtrusive.

Other parts of this story package are dedicated to explaining how to replicate Windows 7 features on a Vista or XP machine--and we offer so many suggestions that you may be starting to think that perhaps there's no compelling reason to upgrade to Windows 7 after all. If so, you should think again. Though Vista and XP users can enjoy some of the new operating system's goodies, either directly or by proxy, various highly desirable features are available only in the genuine article. Here are five that will require you to roll a 7.
